After Beryl tore through southeast Texas and left Houston and surrounding areas damaged and without power, there were few options for food and shopping.
HOUSTON — Hurricane Beryl hit the greater Houston area Monday bring with it torrential rain, damaging winds and left millions without power.
After the storm, many took to their neighborhood apps and Facebook groups to find out what stores were open. We've compiled a list of some in the area.
Kroger reopens all fueling centers
Kroger sent the following release Wednesday just before 1 p.m.
All of Kroger’s area fuel centers have been reopened and gasoline is readily available for customers (note the grades may vary by location). Customers may use their fuel rewards for discounts up to $1 off per gallon.
Beginning TOMORRROW, July 11, Kroger will offer a designated fuel lane for first responders and Kroger employees at 18 fuel centers (listed below).

Is Kroger open today?

Now that the storm has passed, Kroger stores have been reopened and are operating normal hours (6 a.m.-11 p.m.) with the exception of a handful of locations that are listed below.
The stores are being restocked with products from our local distribution center in east Houston. We anticipate soon resuming online shopping for pickup and delivery orders.
We would also like to share with the public our stores are also here to serve as a community resource by way of offering cooling centers as well as charging stations at select pharmacy locations.
